Scrip News
Kwik Trip continues to offer 14% through the Thursday order (then 9% through February 21st order, return to 4% after) and Shutterfly will be 10.75%  through Thursday as well (return to 9% after)

Girl Scout Cookies

Your favorites have returned, Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, and Savannah Smiles! This year we also have 2 NEW COOKIES, Girl Scout S'mores and the gluten free Toffee Tastic! New cookies are $5 and all returning varieties are $4. Funds raised helps support service projects, summer camp, and many other awarding activities and field trips!

An order form can be found on our GS bulletin board, in the main office, or by contacting Troop Organizer Janis Birschbach. Any orders placed this way (not through a specific girl scout) or this post will be split evenly among the troops.

Don't miss out - we are collecting orders through Sunday, January 27th!

Thank you for supporting Lakeshore's Girl Scout Troops!

Girls on the Run
Registration for the Lakeshore Girls on the Run Team ends Friday. Please see the attached information. All girls that have not participated in the past & that are in 3rd-5th grade received notes yesterday. Extra notes are available in the main office and in Mrs. M.’s classroom. We’re looking forward to a fantastic 2019 season. Girls on the Run is so much fun!

Milk Moola Program End
Kwik Trip has announced that they will be ending their Milk Moola program in March.  If you have any milk caps, please submit by March 1st so that we can do one final redemption before the program is over. Thank you for your support!

Carnival Shadow
We are looking for a parent or 2 parents that are willing to shadow our Carnival Chairperson this year. Being a shadow for a chairperson allows you to work with the chair for a year prior to taking over the event. If you're interested or would like more information, please contact the carnival chairperson, Shelly Nelson at

PE Happenings

High Interest Day Presenters
Every other year, the Lakeshore PTO sponsors a High Interest Day. Community members are brought into the school to present on their area of expertise. The students get to pick 3 areas they would like to know more about. This year High Interest Day will be taking place during the afternoon of May 17th. If you or someone you know has a career or hobby that you would be interested in sharing, please contact our chairperson, Emily Crego, at to discuss the possibility.
