Tuesday April, 19th at 4pm in the Lakeshore Media Center.
We are still in need of nominees for the PTO Vice-President and
Secretarial positions. In order for the PTO to continue to provide
and support the wonderful variety of events and activities at
Lakeshore we need parents that are willing to take on a leadership
role. Without parents willing to be leaders in the PTO, we will not
continue to grow and enhance the Lakeshore Community by providing the
unique opportunities to the students that we have in the previous
years. Next year there will still be current active members
available and willing to support and mentor the new leaders. We are
invested in Lakeshore and in making the transition for you
comfortable. If you are interested please contact a current PTO
representative. We will be nominating for the open positions at the
April meeting. If no one is interested in the positions this will
put us in a position of having to cut back on the opportunities for
the students.
I have truly enjoyed the past 6 years being active in the PTO. I believe that I have made a difference in my children’s education and have demonstrated by my actions that I am invested in their education and in the Lakeshore Community. To me that is why I chose to be a leader. Please consider being a leader.
