Scrip News
The scrip order is due on Tuesday at 3:45 this week.

Fundraiser Limo Ride and Pizza Lunch
The limo ride and pizza lunch are coming up on December 12th!  Over 130 kids qualified for this event.  Permission slips for the limo ride and pizza lunch are coming home this week.  If your child sold 15 items for the fundraiser (or 25 per family) or participated in the buyout option, you should receive a permission slip.  If you do not receive one, please contact Jen at 920-517-5221 or lakeshorefundraiser@gmail.com.

Volunteers are needed to help with this event.  If you are available you can sign up below.  Thank you for your help!

Santa Holiday Shop
Back for a second year!  The Santa Holiday Shop is a fun event for the kids that will take place on Wednesday, December 13th and Friday, December 15th.  It allows each child to purchase inexpensive gifts for family members or teachers in a safe, controlled environment-right at school!  There are gifts from $.50 to $10 and everywhere in between.  We will have the older class "buddies" help the younger children shop and stay on budget.  The presents are wrapped or bagged and sent home that day.  Keep an eye out for the white budgeting envelope and more information coming home soon.

We will need your help!  Volunteers are necessary to make this happen, and we are happy to accept any time you are able to give up during this busy holiday season.  Please feel free to sign up below and make a note if you have time constraints or need a different schedule.  Thank you for helping make this event a success and spreading some holiday cheer!  Text/call Jen at 920-517-5221 with questions.

Miscellaneous
~Lakeshore students raised $3,600 for the American Heart Association and will be participating in the Jump Rope for Heart event on Monday during the school day.  They will jump rope and participate in dance contests.  A total of 77 students helped raise money.  Emerblin Mengal was the top student with $320!  The top K-2 classroom was Ms. Ponath and top 3-5 class was Mr. Hoffer.  They will receive two additional recess times.  Thank you to everyone who donated money to this cause!

~Lakeshore will be competing against other elementary schools to be the 2017 Outstanding Red Kettle Bellringing Team!  All money raised will be used to fund the Salvation Army's programs that many of our families utilize.  The team who signs up for the most bell ringing shifts wins and will receive a traveling trophy.  To participate you will need to sign up for an available shift by going to www.myvolunteerpage.com, click on "Opportunities" tab, search the bell ringing options and select a shift.  To login the username is Lakeshore Elementary and the password is lakeshore lions.
