Roller Skating
Roller skating begins next week and lasts for the month of February.  Students will be entered in a drawing to win prizes for wearing their own helmets.  If they have their helmet on the first day of skating, they'll receive two tickets for that day! If your child does not bring their helmet, one will be provided for them along with a shower cap for sanitary reasons.  Socks must be worn to skate and it's helpful to have your child wear long socks on their gym day.   Volunteers are needed for Kindergarten and 1st grade classes.  Anyone can volunteer to help, as long as you have your volunteer form on file, even if you don't have a child in K/1.  Kindergarten has Phy. Ed. from 1:20pm-2:05pm and 1st grade has it from 2:05pm-2:50pm. If your child is purchasing neon glow bracelets/necklaces for Glow in the Dark Skating, please send the money in by February 6th in an envelope with your child's name/grade and teacher's name.  An order form was at the bottom of the Physical Education Happenings Sheet that came home last week.
Please contact Ms. Olson olsonb@fonddulac.k12.wi.us with any questions or to help.

Read-a-Thon
You may turn in your reading logs and pledges any time this week. All reading logs and money are due by January 30th (Friday).  If possible, please convert cash to checks and make checks out to Lakeshore PTO. Minutes read from **January 18th-January 24th** will be counted towards student and classroom totals.  Over 900 snowflakes have been hung in the media center with LOTS more to be hung as the reading logs are turned in this week.  Tickets will be awarded next week, students will enter their tickets into the prize boxes,  and winners will be announced on February 6th. Please contact amy.emmerich@yahoo.com if you have any questions.  We are excited to see if we beat 26,000 minutes!

Pennies for Patients
This week is the last week to turn in your Pennies for Patients sponsored by the Student Council.  This is different from the original due date on the Leukemia/Lymphoma sheet that came home with students.

Yearbook Photos
Please continue to email candid photos for our yearbook to meganmary.qsphoto@gmail.com.  Please try to note the grade and teacher of the student/students in the photo.   You may also send pictures to school in an envelope marked 'Yearbook Photos' and Briar Wirtz's (Grunwald/3rd grade) name on it.   Please contact Nicki Wirtz with any questions nicki@458mail.com or 920-948-6397
